Drone Training Testimonials
“I needed to get my Part 107 Certification for work and scheduled my exam in advance of studying to motivate me. I wasn’t having as much luck self-studying online this completely new material and decided an in-person class would suit me better. Long story short, I flew from Texas to Ohio, on a whim, to take this class over the weekend. It was an amazing class and quelled so much of my anxiety around taking this test. Jason is incredibly kind and is a FANTASTIC instructor. His passion, dedication to his students, and knowledge is top tier. Plus it’s a very well-priced course for what you learn. In conclusion, I ended up leaving back to Texas very early Monday AM after the course. I studied in the airport and on my flights to take my exam at 2:30 pm that afternoon. And I passed! In 3 days, I became certified from his teachings. Please don’t follow my lead or exact plan, but this is just some context if you were wondering the worth of this course. The answer is learning from him is 100% worth your time and investment.”
“Be prepared to learn a lot if you take the FAA Part 107 exam preparation course. Jason knows and uses this material as a commercial drone operator and has been teaching this course long enough to know which topics trip people up. The interaction between instructor and student is what separates this class from online classes”
“I can’t say enough good things about Jason and V1DroneMedia. I was struggling with the online courses for part 107. I decided to try V1DroneMedia’s in-person part 107 course, and I’m glad I did. The way Jason presents the material makes it easy to comprehend and I was able to pass my part 107 exam with no problem.
After getting my part 107 certification, I was struggling setting up a drone my department purchased. I contacted Jason again and he walked me through setting up the settings and pre and post flight operations.
I recommend anyone looking to get their part 107 certification to take V1DroneMedia course. I truly believe I couldn’t have passed it without it.”
“The information covered was explained very well. Interaction with the other people in the class helped to retain the information presented due they each had different ways of looking at the information. It made it easy to take notes (which is really helping me going through the added study information Jason advised us to review) and the Jason’s experience added to understanding of the rules of flying a drone.
I would recommend to anyone interested in obtaining the FAA Part 107 Certificate.
Thank You for your time Jason.”
“Jason’s class was great! I highly recommend it! It is a great refresher even for the most experienced drone pilots. I had questions and Jason answered them all. The hands on flying was great. If you have your own drone I highly recommend you bring it. Since that is what you are use to. I have more confidents using the various modes now than before. Thank you for a great class. I highly recommend these courses.”
“I recently utilized Jason’s services as an instructor. The tutorial session was performed with a DJI Mini Pro 3. Jason was patient, and very thorough. Jason took me through the step by step process of setting up, and he incrementally and methodically taught me numerous navigation drills. He helped to reinforce what I practiced in the past, proceeded to demonstrate more advanced flying maneuver.
In summary, I would definitely recommend Jason’s instructional services for beginners, and people who are endeavoring to increase their knowledge base.”
“At 61 I don’t look forward to learning new tricks. But Jason made Part 107 a pleasure. Jason is an excellent instructor, it was a great class!”
“Every aspect of the test was covered in the (Part 107) course. For me, being new to this industry additional study time to fully comprehend the information was essential. The instructor provided real-time knowledge and experience in different areas of UAS which was what I was looking for. So thank you again for the great course and insight into the private side of the industry. ”
““Awesome class, prepping for the Part 107 Drone Exam! Jason was very knowledgeable, and presented the material in a logical and friendly way!””
“Jason was extremely knowledgeable. Not only his drone experience, but his previous pilot career also gave him a much better perception. I’m very glad and grateful that I learned all those essential things from him and that I would start doing things correctly with good behavior in the beginning. From the things we have to pay attention to, to the things we don’t realize could be potential problems.”
